What youâll do as a Data Analyst
Weâre looking for a Data Analyst to join our Web Development Team and help us uncover actionable user behavior insights on our website and apps to guide our growth and innovation. If youâre skilled in Snowflake and dbt in an AWS environment, fluent in SQL, know A/B testing, and have sound ideas on how to structure data models - youâre exactly who weâre looking for.
We are in the early stages of setting up our new data analytics team. While you will get excellent technical support from our infrastructure and database experts, it is crucial that you have a pragmatic mindset and are willing to take on a generalist role while we are establishing our new platform. You will be responsible for defining the data models and promoting data accessibility in the organization.
This isnât just a number-crunching gig - youâll be the Sherlock Holmes of our data, turning raw numbers into clear, compelling stories that guide our strategy and decision-making. Presentation skills are equally important as analysis.
You will:
Collaborate on ETL: Assist our infrastructure experts in making the final adjustments of our new AWS/Snowflake data pipeline.
Define Data Models: Set up the new data models in Snowflake.
Visualize the Data: Create stunning, interactive dashboards in Tableau that make insights easy to digest.
But also:
Survey Deep-Dive: Analyze responses from our massive yearly user survey (25,000 respondents!) to shape future product development. A treasure trove for understanding our users!
Geographical Data Exploration: Get hands-on with user-generated flight tracking data, identifying trends in flight phases and behaviors. Think Gamification for pilots!
Engage the Team: Present findings in a way thatâs as clear as it is compelling, helping everyone in marketing and product development to make data-driven decisions.
What you'll need:
Snowflake Pro: Youâve got 3-5 years of experience and a solid understanding of Snowflake and dbt. SnowPro certifications are a merit!Â
SaaS-Savvy: Bonus if youâve worked with subscription business models and understand metrics like conversion, retention, CLV, and churn.
Communicator Extraordinaire: You know how to take complex data and turn it into clear, actionable insights. Google Looker Studio and/or Tableau!
Data-Driven Problem Solver: Analytical and structured, you turn raw data into meaningful information.
Team Player: You bring your expertise, but youâre also open to collaboration and new ideas.Â
Who You Are:
Friendly and communicative.
Obsessed with detail.
Creative! Always eager to learn and improve.
