Frontend Developer
"Navigraph has by far the best software for flight simulation – I just love it!"
We are both proud and happy to be able to offer thousands of subscribers around the world such a valued product and be the market leader in our field. At the same time, it feels like we're just getting started!
Navigraph was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Stockholm. Navigraph is today a world-leading SaaS company which serves flight simulation enthusiasts worldwide. We will soon have one million users internationally thanks to the fact that with our software, built on the latest technology, we can offer a unique user experience in flight simulation.
Navigraph has grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years, primarily organically but also through acquisitions. With our latest acquisition, SimBrief, the most popular route planning software in the flight simulator community, and the imminent release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 on the X-box console, we are predicting fantastic growth for the flight simulation market in general, and our products in particular.
Right now we are looking for frontend developers who want to be part optimizing our website. Your previous technical experience in terms of technology stack and language preference is of less importance, because we think that a great developer is always able to learn and adapt. Your problem solving and teamwork skills are also important. We are a fast growing company and have several active projects for frontend development. This means that we will have great flexibility in tailoring a role based on your skills.
We are happy to see that you have:
At least three years experience of frontend development. You also have a strong sense of design, animation, and a passion for best practices for modern web development. We also think you like to explore new technologies and have a creative approach when solving problems. As a member of a remote team you should be comfortable in an environment where communication is key to success. We also think you are driven by the satisfaction of completing common goals together with your team.
You have experience of:
- Javascript (es5 / es6)
- JS ecosystem and design patterns
- React and/or Angular
- Web performance
- UX and UI design
- HTML, CSS
- Responsive design
- Write high-performant, reliable and reusable code
Navigraph's head office is located in Gamla Stan, Stockholm (in fantastic premises), but since we work remotely, it is not a requirement that you are based in Stockholm.
We are a good group and want to have fun together and enjoy the work. We offer a good benefit package, flexible working hours and try to go on a couple of trips annually.
